1、 Overview of Small Pipeline Laser Welding Equipment

Small pipeline laser welding equipment is a precision welding system that uses high-energy density laser beams as heat sources, designed specifically for the connection and repair of various metal pipelines. The system mainly consists of a laser generator, an optical transmission system, a precision motion platform, a gas protection device, and an intelligent control system, with the characteristics of compact size and flexible operation.


Laser generators usually use fiber lasers or semiconductor lasers with a power range of 500W-3000W, which can be precisely adjusted according to different pipe thicknesses. Non contact processing: Laser welding does not require physical contact with the workpiece, avoiding mechanical stress deformation that may be caused by traditional welding, and is particularly suitable for connecting thin-walled pipelines.

Small heat affected zone: The laser energy is highly concentrated, and the heat input is only 1/3-1/5 of traditional arc welding, significantly reducing thermal deformation and maintaining the original mechanical properties of the pipeline.

Excellent welding quality: The weld seam is aesthetically pleasing, with a defect rate of less than 0.5% for porosity, slag inclusion, and other defects. The welding strength can reach over 90% of the base material.

Wide adaptability: can weld various metal pipes such as stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminum alloy, titanium alloy, etc., with a diameter range from 3mm to 150mm.

High degree of automation: equipped with visual positioning system and weld seam tracking technology, it can achieve automated welding with a repeat positioning accuracy of ± 0.05mm.
